CITI Double Card is another credit card offered by Citibank. It has been described as a unique financial product that provides cash and rewards opportunities. It indicates an expandable menu or segment, or at times previous / current navigation options. Review: Is CITI Double Card the right credit card for you? Comparison: CITI Double Card or other CITI cards. What's in it for me?
The perks are designed to attract and reward you, the cardholder. For example, CITI double cash benefits include airline miles, cash back rewards, gift cards, savings, dining, drug discounts, roadside assistance, travel insurance, amusement passes, at-home amenities, entertainment value and more. In some cases, additional incentives may be available for specific programs or plans, or for all of them. Often times, the more money you save or get back, the better the price, and this is what makes these rewards attractive.
CITI offers the following special offers: CITI Premier Rewards Blue Cash Value (PCV), Premier Rewards Platinum Plus (PPR), Plus Ultra Value (UV), and Cash Back rebates on purchases of select brands. The 18 months introductory balance transfer offer is also available for CITI Premier Rewards Blue Cash Value and CITI Premier Rewards Platinum Plus. The introductory balance transfer term runs until your account is closed. You can decide whether to take advantage of the introductory balance transfer offer or not. If you do decide to go ahead, be sure to transfer your CITI Blue Cash balance to your new card within the special offer term.
Another offer from CITI is their CITI Simplicity Card, which has features similar to those of the CITI Double Cash Card. For a limited time, you can earn up to two hundred dollars extra, after you pay a one time fee for the introductory 0% interest term on your CITI Simplicity card. This bonus is for spending on your travel rewards, like the ones that the CITI Simplicity Card offers. This benefit runs for a limited time and is only good if you make at least twelve payments during the introductory period.
As with the CITI Simplicity Card, you must pay off your balance in full each month to earn the reward. If you don't, your points will be lost. A CITI double cash credit card offers the same benefits as the CITI Simplicity Card, but with no-annual-fee payments. Also, if you don't pay your bill off in full, you won't get any rewards. The best thing about CITI cards is that they are issued by Citibank, so you're not going to have to worry about having bad credit. They also are a preferred credit card provider by many major corporations.
The best credit cards out there today all offer the same things: low interest rates on balance transfers, gas rebates, discounts at restaurants and at hotels, airline miles and points programs for traveling. CITI offers the lowest interest rates on balance transfers and the most attractive incentives. CITI also has an attractive no-annual-fee offer. That's why the CITI Double Cash Card is such a popular credit card.
The terms for earning cash back rewards on CITI Double Cash is relatively simple. You must make at least twelve monthly payments on the CITI Simplicity Card, which means paying it off in full each month. There's also a special offer that CITI is running called the” Mai Tai Month” where you double your payment amount. For every twenty dollars you spend, you earn three percent cash back. That's why CITI Double Cash Card is one of the easiest cards to use for earning cash back rewards.
When you use the CITI Simplicity Card for its introductory period, the reward structure will start to roll up. After you've paid off your balance in full, then you'll be eligible for additional savings. CITI offers a standard APR of 14.4%, but there are some cards that have an even lower introductory rate of just eleven.5%. Either way, there are savings to be had by doing your credit cards homework beforehand. If you're thinking of applying for a new credit card, it would be wise to find out what kind of introductory rate CITI will have on their Double Cash Card. If they offer a low introductory rate, it might be a good idea to go with that kind of card, but if they have a high interest rate, it might make more sense to get another card that gives you the chance to save more money.
