For people that are familiar with the Blue Mountain Coffee Roasters brand, they may not be aware that Indigo is an entirely separate company. This brand was born in Portland, Oregon and is distributed by Keurig. They offer both a coffee and tea drinker's kit. Their first product was designed for people that wanted to have the same great tasting coffee and tea that people get from Keurig. However, they also provide a credit card customer service program.
This may not be of interest to you if you are a coffee or tea drinker, but it should be to all Indigo users. There have been many occasions when I have run out of coffee due to using their card to pay for my latte. The customer service staff that is there is always very helpful and always seems to understand my problem quickly and offers me another order of things that I would have paid for with my card. This is the type of customer service that most credit card companies would be proud to say they offer.
What is it that makes Indigo so different from most credit cards? Well, first of all, they do not use the Visa/MasterCard system. For those of you in the know, this is a system that is used to charge consumers for their purchases. They have a specific logo that represents them, which is engraved on their cards. When a consumer uses their card to make a purchase, they are charged a monthly minimum fee for whatever they purchased. If they happen to spend more than their monthly minimum fee they get charged an extra fee.
The credit card company will then issue them a chargeback. A chargeback is when the customer that had the item sent to them sends back the item that they received to them and says that it is incorrect. They then issue them a second chargeback to their credit card company and that is where things start to get complicated.
The credit card company will attempt to contact the person that has sent the letter to them. Sometimes they will attempt to resolve the situation by sending them a money order to pay the money back. Other times they will write them a letter stating that they cannot do a credit card transaction with them anymore because of a fraud alert that they put into place. This is all part of their scam to get money out of you.
However, none of this stuff happens with I Greene credit card company. The customer service representative that works there is so nice and genuinely concerned with your needs that I have given them my business all these years. The thing that really impresses me is the fact that they actually care about you the consumer before they even care about the money that you spend with their company. Their prices are reasonable and you can even get rewards for using their service.
In fact, I even have an eye Greene credit card through them that I use just for gas. They have a reward program where if you use their card at the pumps you will get a rebate on every dollar that you use. Now this is a great service and I love using them because their customer service has always been great. Plus, they will refund your money if you are not satisfied with their product or service. When it comes to dealing with a credit card company, the best one always wins in the long run.
One tip that you can use to make I Greene credit card customer service better for you is to call them if you have a complaint. I use to get my issue solved by calling them but I realized recently that you can solve almost any problem that you have online. The customer service representatives are usually very friendly and can help you get your issue resolved quickly. Also, keep in mind that you should never pay over the phone for anything. This is probably the one big downside to dealing with I Greene.
